Professor Martin Kuball (Chair Professor)

Professor Martin Kuball holds the Royal Academy of Engineering Chair in Emerging Technologies at the University of Bristol, United Kingdom, and is a Fellow of several prestigious organisations, including IEEE and MRS. He is Director of the REWIRE Innovation and Knowledge Centre (IKC), and the Centre for Device Thermography and Reliability (CDTR). He develops next generation power and RF semiconductor electronics, focusing on wide and ultrawide bandgap semiconductors including Gallium nitrides and its alloys, and Gallium Oxide. He also has pioneered techniques for measuring thermal and electrical conductivity in wide and ultrawide bandgap semiconductor devices, which are now widely adopted in both academia and industry.
